Planning District holds July meeting
The South Riding Mountain Planning District held its regular July meeting on July 22 1981 at the Erickson Office with Directors from Harrison Erickson Park Strathclair and Municipal Planning present. Motions approved included June 24 minutes, June financials, and July current accounts. Subdivision actions were discussed for several properties including Onanole area pending development. Boat speed control inquiry noted as RCMP jurisdiction. A typewriter for the office was to be rented. Meeting adjourned to August 25 1981 at 7 00 PM.

Donkey Baseball Night At Rossburn Fair Grounds
Rossburn crowds will enjoy a family night of Donkey Baseball on Saturday August 29 at 7:00 PM. Four legged teams ride the field in a regular baseball format with adults paying 3.00 and children 12 and under 1.00 while 6 and under enter free.
