Local Golf Club Names Rossburn Club Executives
The Rossburn Golf Club held its annual meeting at the Curling Rink on April 18 with nine members present. Minutes and financial statements were adopted, officers and committees retained, and the 2024 golf fee schedule set including Gents 20.00 Ladies 13.00 Family 35.00 and daily green fees. A Spring Tournament was authorized for June 4–5 with a 3.00 entry fee.

Grade Twelve Theatre Trip Supports The Crucible Visit
The Grade Twelve English 300 class held a March 19 fundraiser tea and bake sale at Rossburn Town Hall raising 163 dollars for a theatre trip. Winners of the raffle and door prizes were Cory Koleski, Caye Ament, Rasia Herchak, Bev Drul, and Bill Stitt. On April 7 twenty students and teacher Kathy Shevchuk went to Winnipeg to view The Crucible at Manitoba Theatre Centre, then toured exhibits and dined at Spaghetti Factory.

The Rossburn Hornets held their annual hockey banquet and dance on Saturday April 16 with a good crowd in attendance. Les Andrew was MC for speeches and presentations after a banquet, then Ron Lamabe introduced players with anecdotes and thanked helpers. Awards went to Doug Hedley for MVP and top scorer, Dwain Lawless for Most Gentlemanly Player, Larry Huston for Most Popular Player, and Ed Plitz received a plaque for minor baseball and hockey work.
