War Finance Rossburn Sub Unit met at Douglas Hotel to set up Eighth Victory Loan Drive starting April 23. Local Legion branch elected a committee at its Monday meeting.
Janence Mimestr announces the objective for the Canadian Eighth Victory Loan at 1.35 billion dollars, surpassing the Seventh Loan. Individual contributions are set at 675 million, up 75 million from the Seventh Loan, with total Seventh Loan sales at 1.517 billion and 3,340,735 applications.
