Pastor Walter Venton invites families to Rossburn Children’s Church Family Night and Sunday services. Schedule lists Sunday School at 10:30 a.m., Morning Worship at 11:30 a.m., Evangelistic Service Friday at 8 p.m., with a family evening event priced at 15 p.m. and Friday night at 7 p.m. A cordial invitation encourages all to attend.
The notice lists missionary activities by Rev. J. Y. Garett at ARGYLE at 11.00 a.m. Beckford service at 1.30 p.m. Waywayserc PPD at 5.00 p.m. All welcome to attend these sessions hosted by the Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Mr Harold Brown departed Wea pore via Shoal Leke to visit Aatoon Hanley and Cutkaife in Sask. He traveled through several communities seeking to meet residents and gather stories for a local feature.
Old timer Mrs Eme'ia Murray Douglas died at home March 28 after long residence in the Rossburn district. Born 1682 at Largie Castle Argyllshire Scotland she married James Douglas in 1882. Survived by daughter Mrs Ben Cormack and sons James Winnipeg and Charles Rossburn. eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral at home and United Church with Rev S P Persons officiating. Interment Rossburn Cemetery. arrangements by Mr Braendle of Bisnecarth.
Mr Slicks arrives in Rossburn to train under J G Stitt as manager of Rossburn Consumers Co op Ltd. Several residents travel to Winnipeg and Fork River for Easter, with birthdays and retirements noted. The Board of Trade meeting gains attendance while Mrs Rowe’s death prompts Mrs Stitt’s presence at her mother’s side. News also covers funeral attendance for Emelia Douglas and staff changes at local businesses.
A meeting of the Directors of the Agriculture Society will be held in open. Bowley returned from a visit to Roblin with their granddaughter to spend the Easter holidays. The checker tournament at W Armstrong had twelve players and prize winners were Peter Kwanchuk first and Ed Harris second. consolation went to R Hamilton. Next tournament on April 12 in the Club Room. enter names with B F Parsons. Spectators welcome. Mr and Mrs A H Hicks of Ninga are visiting and were honored with gifts at their departure and farewell events at the United Church and Hicks’ home.
Mrs Farhall spends Easter at her Winnipeg home. Ritchie McIntyre travels east by train Thursday mourning Mr. Stitt. Mr. Macphail F Stitt W Wetteland and others spend the Fast er week at their homes. Mr. J Menzies visits at the Miller home. Mr. J Rutherford stays with niece Mrs H Hamilton at Russell and Silverton. Messrs A Lowe of Wog short visit to see their mother Mrs Lowe in Winnipeg. Sympathy extended to Mrs Sitko for her mother's passing. A quilt donated by Mrs H Brown finished last Wednesday at Mr L Hamilton's, next quilting April 11 at the same place.
Angusville residents Bill Zine and family host a Winnipeg guest Emily Drozdeaki for the Easter week. Pte Matt Chuckrey from Camp Shilo spends furlough with kin. Ukrainee from Portage arrives to visit relatives. Joe Wolowetz returns from Innipes after two months away. Roweens Hosenblat from Winnipeg comes home for Easter. John and Mia Worneski from Victoria spend a month with friends. Margaret Wiez Jean Zapski and Joan Tutkaluk go Easter visiting Oakburn homes. Adam Juce of Borketon visits his parents over Easter. Mr Mir Waldman of Bia searth spends Good Friday with N. Roseblat.

A bingo party held at Chmelaveki School on Saturday March 24 drew few attendees due to bad roads. Net proceeds totaled 550 dollars and were sent to the Canadian Red Cross War Fund.
