The Rossburn Review announces a change in ownership effective April 1 as Mr Bowley retires after fifty years in the field. The office moves across the street near Rossburn Hotel and J J Crowe Lumber. The new editor, with past work at MacGregor Herald since 1945, pledges more local news and continued advertiser and reader support.

Award to Boy for Bravery Amid Fire Loss
Eleven year old Jerry Nykoliation was honored with a fifteen jewel gold wrist watch by the Eaton Good Deed Radio Club for bravery shown when fire destroyed his father's home in the Leech District. The exploit was recounted on the Saturday morning broadcast of March 27.

J. P. Johnson named vice-president, Western Region, replacing W. R. Devenish who retires after 36 years with CN. Johnson has long western Canada ties and a 1905 start in railways. Tillie Derkach is home with parents in Boyle district. John Chuchmuch of Fort William starts barber business down east. Andy Nield and wife moved to a farm south of Angusville. Ladies bowling league ended April 1 after two tournaments. Polly Kobluk scored 324. Attendance grows at Evans Parobeck alley with visitors from Rossburn and Russell. Easter visitors include Caroline Probeck Donelda Bell Olga Mashuik Cassie Zink Helen Rubennik Rose Craig Olive Chuchmuch Sasha Germack Amy Zink and others. John Bell a patient at Sacred Heart Russell hospital. Mrs Bell also staying there. Donelda visited. Mrs Harry Stanchuk went to Winnipeg to meet husband returning from the bush. they will live on a Fox Warren area farm.
