Snowfall from November 1, 1977 to March 31, 1978 totaled 34.2 inches, below normal. Last winter had 23.5 inches. March brought 1.7 inches of snow and 0.1 inch of rain on the 31st, yielding 0.27 inches of moisture for the month, the driest on record since 1954.
Hospital Auxiliary Plans Purchases and Meals on Wheels Update
The Rossburn Hospital Auxiliary met March 2 at Colleen Palmer’s home to discuss buying a wheelchair for rent and a youth bed. Mrs. Stitt to obtain price quotes for next meeting. Meals on Wheels delivered seven meals. drivers still needed. Next meeting April 25 at Doris Caldwell’s home.
