Elkhorn Canadians crowned N C H L champions
The North Central Hockey League awarded its final season honors with Elkhorn Canadians winning the N C H L trophy. MVPs were Darwin Stonehouse for the South Division and a tie in the North Division between Bob Mazur and Glen McLeod. Top scorers were Bob Mazur 55 points in the North and Delbert Bowles 79 in the South. The Rossburn Hospital Auxiliary met at May Lawless's home with 10 members. Minutes and treasurer's reports were presented. A hospital Showcase list was prepared. A small TV for the Children's Ward was proposed. Purchasing Committee to obtain prices before the next meeting. New cribs to be priced. A Easter Tea for patients planned. They will cater the A A Group Supper on April 21 and the Municipal Dinner on March 27. Next meeting venue to be decided.
