District Legion Meeting Agendas Montreal Dominion Convention
District No. 4 Legion branches met in Rossburn with Comrade Geo A Lauman presiding. About fifty members from seven branches attended as six resolutions were debated for the Montreal Dominion Convention May 18 to 23. The group endorsed five resolutions, rejected one, and discussed Old Age Pension means testing for veterans. Lunch was served by the Rossburn branch before the next meeting in Russell.

Ford Show Draws Large Crowd at Rossburn Theatre
About 165 people attended the free Ford Show by Maron Slow at the Rossburn Theatre on Friday March 28. The program opened with Power to Prosper about Ford tractors, followed by Holiday For Bill a TV operator's farm holiday. Piano Tuner and Fixer Upper completed the evening with light entertainment and a comic twist.
