Ives Family Reunion Surprise at English Army Hospital
Twenty years ago, Forrest Ives surprised Elwyn at an army base hospital in England where he served. Garland Chambers broke his army record last Thursday during a birthday party game of commando cops and robbers for Merlin Rickless, leaping from a shed to grab a tree limb and falling. Norvine Arnold and Donna Jean Foust hosted a group during the event.

Pocahontas Two Car Collision Leaves $350 In Damages
The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s office investigated a two car accident on main street Pocahontas on September 2 at 10 am. Elmer A. Peterson 71 of Fonda backed his 1962 Chrysler from the curb near the courthouse square while Carol Johnson 27 of Pocahontas drove a 1969 Ford. No injuries were reported and both cars sustained about $350 in damages. The piece also includes farm and storage advice about food quality and freezing times.
