Ray Wolfe received a Life Membership silver card at a Cecil Cumming Post 25 ceremony held Tuesday evening October 7 in Ro fe. Eldon via Vey of Plover presented the award. Wolfe has served as state sergeant at arms and past commander of the post. The Rolfe Legion hosted the event.

Diane Bierstedt represented Rolfe as Band Queen at the 26th Annual Kossuth Band Festival in Algona on October 4. She rode in a convertible during the parade with the Rolfe Community School marching band also participating. Twenty five bands and their queens featured in the morning parade. a free lunch and movie followed for bandsmen. at 5 PM bands were introduced and performed three massed numbers culminating in Pamela Wirtz of Mallard being crowned Band Queen.
