Thirty years ago Rollin Ives of Pocahontas County Health Boy earned a medal marking a red ribbon win at the State Fair. Buster Brown and Kenneth Dayton returned from a fishing trip in Canada. Clarence Dahl bought a 1940 Lux ury Liner Dodge, the first in Rolfe. Reverend and Mrs Wangberg and others attended a Sunday School teachers' training class in Bode. Dr. H. B. Bright of Elk Point visited Rolfe. he once lived here and graduated in 1896.
