Mrs B R Lolt and Mrs Alwine Walter of Lytton joined Mrs H Westerman for Iowa State University Commencement in Ames on May 24. Marshall Brinkman of Rolfe, grandson of Mrs Westerman, earned Honor of Distinction. Connie MacDonald was salutatorian at senior class reception. County American Legion Auxiliary met May 19 at Plover Hall with 45 attendees and a memorial service. About 60 relatives attended a reception for Sandra Westerman at the Garland Westerman home following Commencement. Debut events honored Tom Arnold who left for army service. About 50 friends gathered at Delbert Hubbell's to honor his daughter Debbie graduating. American Legion Auxiliary plans memorial wreaths at June meeting. Melvin Stowell of Stevens Point visited Sunday.
