Rebekah lodge hosted a large social with piano solo and readings. Legion Post 32 entertained Pocahontas county posts with 160 attendees. Holy Week services ongoing at M B E church. New son born to Mr and Mrs George Brown on March 25.

The Havelock Parent-Teacher Association filled the school gym with over 400 attendees for a program featuring the high school band under Raymond Hovey, a one act play Planning Their Husbands Banquet, a drill by the second and third graders, and a piano solo by Miss Myr Barth. C. C. Cole excelled as Mrs Gibbs in the play. a lunch followed and a motion picture is planned for the next meeting with date to be announced.
