Mrs George Brown Dies After Childbirth in Mallard Area
A pall of gloom settled over the community as Mrs. George Brown died after complications from intestinal influenza following the birth of her son on Sunday March 25. Luella Truelsen Brown, a local graduate, leaves a husband three sons and a daughter, her parents Mr and Mrs Andy Truelsen, and many relatives. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Mallard Lutheran Church with interment in Washington Cemetery Havelock.
