Brother Dies In Community From Brief Illness
Alan Stearns 42 brother of Clarence Stearns died Sunday at Pocahontas Community Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church Pocahontas with burial in Summit Hill Cemetery. Survived by widow two sons and three daughters parents Mr and Mrs Frank Stearns Sr Plover three brothers and nine sisters. Stearns born Rolfe, ex offensively served in US Army 1944 to 1946. He married TaVonne Rickless at Palmer and moved in 1959 to near Pocahontas.
