Eighty years ago on Thursday March 26 1906 Frances Howe departed for Washington DC to take a job at the Railroad Retirement Board in the new Tower Building. W S DeWolf sold a team to a buyer from near Rockwell City Tuesday. An extra team has sold well this spring. Mrs B A Peterson and Mrs G A Everson drove to Mallard Saturday morning for the funeral of Mrs Mena Mueller of Plover. Leon Malcolm mayor and L Se Townsend town clerk visited from out of town.
