Pocahontas County Supervisors Act on Roads and Duties
County board met in Pocahontas Iowa January 16 1951 with all members present. They approved the 1950 county superintendent of schools report and bonds for the coroner justice of the peace and township clerk. A farm to market plan favored six highway projects totaling about 204k with right of way and engineering funded. Stougard admission to Woodward State Hospital approved and DD No. 22 repair bid deferred to February 7 1961.

The Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors approves transfers and designations for 1951. Marie Pavik is appointed Public Bidder with authority to issue Tax Sale Certificates, and designated county depositories are set with bank limits. The board also names officers, approves reports, liquor permit, newspapers, and raises wages for county staff.
