Rolfe School welcomes new pupils in kindergarten and first grade
Kindergarten gains Rickey Bendixon and Bugne Schmidt as total students rise to 86. They sing Peter Cottontail, track the weather calendar, and prepare new reading books while mumps case Tim Kemna is absent. First graders anticipate coloring eggs and Easter displays as groups finish Bird Butterfly Flower units. Second grade adds Judith Jordan Larry Lawman Jerry Nielson Billy Troxel and begins Oak Hill neighbors unit with Pamela Jordan in Miss Vorrie’s class.

They approved the Swan Lake Township clerk band payment. appointed Dr F E Heathman coroner. authorized fund transfers for road projects and maintenance. set drainage district levies. and audited bills from numerous county offices and vendors.
