Holy week union with Trinity Lutheran Church features daily 8 pm talks on What Shall I Do With Jesus with topics including Shall I Betray Him Shall I Deny Him Shall I Compromise Shall I Crucify and Shall I Glorify Good Friday union at the Methodist Church. The Sm. L. Eno post of the American Legion hosted 125 legionnaires in Havelock on Monday evening. A varied program featured saxophone and accordion duets, tap dance, and a key highway safety talk with motion pictures by Patrolman Sterzing of Algona.

In 1868 Cummins of Palo Alto county hired John Gilbert Jolliffe and George Crown to trap for a month. They delivered muskrat and mink, with one lynx and one raccoon eluding capture.
