The Home of Harry and Herbert in Fort Dodge Iowa promotes Friday Saturday and Monday sale events with groceries including sugar coffee beans and canned goods. It lists lower prices on flour rice peas and fruits alongside clothing shoes bedding and housewares and emphasizes big discounts on coats dresses and hats.

Mrs. Blomberg plans an auction, area families travel between Laurens Pocahontas and Mallard, and millinery clubs hold events while basketball tournaments and church gatherings draw crowds. A family fire incident near Ward Strong’s home spared injuries but damaged the rug and furniture.
Church notes invite all to services under the schedule at the Plover church. Members and visitors will be warmly welcomed and encouraged to attend.

District meeting at Emmetsburg March 5 with Bishop Keeney. men’s banquet in Fenton March 7. two weeks of union services planned before Easter.
Mr and Mrs Ted Hewlett visited Fort Dodge bringing Mrs Hewletts father John Murray home from the hospital. Alex Struthers and Wade DeMills were Des Moines visitors, returning Monday. Mrs E W Kerns and Mrs William Goodchild shopped at Emmetsburg. Hansen attended a shower in Havelock for Mrs Earl Young. Mrs Lou White and children stay with Perry White while moving to a new home near Ruthven.
Mr and Mrs D oun visit Ottosen as Marion Ham to spend time with Jacobson Firkinq family. Mrs Henry Stecker of Ma visits Earl Kilbourne home while the Stoney family plans a move to the Kilbourne farm. Jud Mchaffey moves to Henry Stoner place. Geo Roush visits Rolfe. Nelda Christensen opens week with Clarence Pin. J H Seger at Mal for residence. Stanzell assists in care of Mrs Ayland after heart trouble. W R Ner family spends day at Orton home. Mae Butler and Kathryn Jadee hosted at Branson home Sunday.
