Desert lunches mark August club sessions and social events
The Golf Club Auxiliary held desserts on August 23 with hosts Janet Dixon and Maureen Ranney. Suma Butler won high in Contract Bridge and Maureen Ranney in 500. bingo prizes went to Helen Munson Eden Spence and Beryl Schoon. August 30 hostesses were Mary Simon and Susan Johnson. Kitty Bannon of Lansing Michigan attended. Five card tables, Eden Spencer high in Bridge, Violetha Bennett low, Barb Bennett high in 500, Doris Wallace low. Kitty Bannon won bingo. A fish fry and pollock supper at Mrs Guy Kerns home featured guests from St Peul Humboldt Plover LeMars and others. Kenton Kerns and Francis Anderson showed Florida Bahama slide trip. birthday ice cream and cake for Kenton and Chester Truelsen. Nine Legion Auxiliary members attended School of Instruction in Rolfe led by Mrs Russell Harris.
