The Rev. Jerome Coyle led Sunday worship at Sunset Hill Manor with a list of assistors and residents receiving valentines, apples, and flowers. Brownie Troop No. 102 visited February 8 with Valentine trays and songs. A Friday valentine treat was served, and February 15 brought a Pink Ladies led Valentine party with ice cream and cookies. Out-of-town callers included several families from Gilmore City, Plover, Manson, and other towns.

Local Hospital Moves and Discharges Reported
Mrs. Myrtle Stouse was released Monday from Bethesda General Hospital to Sunset Hill Manor for convalescence. Mrs. Bennie Hilton left Bethesda General Hospital on Sunday as a surgical patient. Mrs. Joe Wainreb moved Tuesday by ambulance from Humboldt Memorial to University Hospital in Iowa City for observation and tests. Joe Jergens is a patient at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Mrs. Ivan Harris and Mrs. Mary Thompson remain hospitalized at Pocahontas. Leslie DeWolf underwent surgery at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines early in the week. Virgil Ryen is a patient.
