Donald Weaver had an appendectomy at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge last Thursday. Claribel Michalek had her tonsils removed in Spencer last Saturday and returned home Sunday evening. Mr and Mrs Henry Schmidt took Mrs J M Perkins to Fort Dodge Tuesday for medical care. Mr and Mrs James Truelsen and children Joyce and Jimmy visited Wilbur McClurg’s family in Storm Lake earlier this week. Bernard Hurley of Elkader visited his sister Frances Hurley for two weeks. They spent the Friday evening and weekend in Mapleton with relatives.
