Conference growing pains in Twin Lakes schools
The Twin Lakes region debates forming a small schools conference of six teams with football aims and possible expansion to eight. Larger schools push a separate conference including Manson, Rockwell City, Pocahontas, Laurens, Sac City, Gowrie Prairie, and Lake City, while Albert City’s status causes tension. K-12 enrollments for 1975 76 show Clarion 977 and Palmer 240 among others.
