State Girls Club Leader to Marry in Sweden
Miss Josephine Arnquist, leader of the Iowa State Girls Club since 1920, sailed from Ames for New York and then Uddeheden Sweden to wed Dr. A L Bakke of Town State College. The couple will marry in the church of the Arnquist family and travel through Germany Austria and Czechoslovakia before returning around October 1. A ten year old girl swam the Mississippi, a feat noted amid light local humor.
