Maxine Neville and Doris Moe of Swan Lake township Can Can Club won the demonstration contest at Pocahontas courthouse, canning chicken with skill. They will represent Pocahontas at the Iowa State Fair, edging a corn canning team. third and fourth place teams from Marshall and Grant townships also recognized.
