Treatment of Noxious Weeds With Chemicals
The guide advises applying weed killers during blossom stage when toxins are lowest and weeds are most susceptible. Use about a pound of chemical per gallon of water with a high clearance sprayer. Apply three times in cool evenings for effective control on small areas or difficult-to-reach spots.
Safety first in peaning and processing times
The guidance emphasizes safety in peeling and processing by avoiding rushed schedules. It warns against shortening cooking times or raising temperatures beyond recommended charts, and states that the shortest time that yields a safe, successful product should be used.
