Sunday school at 9 40 a m Epworth League at 7 pm pastor preaches in the morning on Establishment in the Faith and in the evening a 12 minute sermon on How to Win Friends and Keep Them with a sacred concert by the choir. Catholic Father Felix Dilly offers Mass at 11 on first Sunday and 8 on third.
The Rocky Ford council debated revising the Pure Springs Water Co contract to ensure delivery to local consumers. Officials flagged the interline as insufficient and sent the agreement back to the city attorney. The meeting also covered pump fittings at No 7 well, rail bank bids, sidewalk petitions, and building permits.
A report to the state press praises Canon City's Civic Improvement League after a highly patronized Street Fair and Carnival. He reports new claimants are baseless and that divorce records show no rights for the Unionville parties. The case reconvened in district court last week at La Junta.
