Deposits Rise in Secured Oklahoma Banks Under Guaranty Law

Oklahoma banking figures show total deposits rise by 3.64 million, all in banks secured by the guaranty law, while unsecured banks report substantial declines. Carter will probate with court trustees in Dale county

The will of Nancy A. Carter of Carter township is filed for probate by Clerk Hopkins. It bequeaths one dollar each to Alvin Beeler George Beeler Harry Robertson Emma Lemmons Mary Beeler Frederick Brown Archie Huffman Elizabeth Phillips Ollie Gearner. Emma Carter receives 1000 dollars. real estate goes to Joseph Hensler. the rest to Emma Carter and Joseph Hensler share and share alike. A trust fund is created to support a burial ground, with trustees from Dale bank and local church boards. After interest, 5 dollars a year is spent on repairs, with remainder split between Emma Carter and Joseph Hensler. upon both deaths, churches in Dale share the residue. Executed April 14 1908.

Congressmen Foster and Crumpacker Speak at Courthouse

At a Wednesday afternoon Republican session in the courthouse 150 attendees mostly women heard Mr Foster deliver a 45 minute talk with few key names mentioned and little enthusiasm. Mr Crumpacker touched on tariff bank guaranty and the republican panic but failed to stir the audience and faced muted reaction.
