Anderson Sentenced After False Swearing Conviction
T. S. Anderson, former president of the Daviess county Savings Bank and Trust Co. of Owensboro, Kentucky, was found guilty by a Henderson circuit court jury on a false swearing charge and sentenced to eighteen months in state prison. He had been tried twice before with a prior three year sentence reversed on venue and a hung jury in January. The latest verdict surprised many as a disagreement was expected.

City Council Accepts Rail Road Surplus Release
W A Carson and Arch Stevenson presented a proposition to release the railroad from stock delivery obligations in exchange for a $790 surplus fund release from county taxes. Visitor Arrested for Grand Larceny in Gentryville Case
Harley Davis of Illinois was jailed on a guilty plea to grand larceny. He allegedly took Mrs America Harters pocket book containing $30 from her Gentryville home while visiting a son. Traced from Gentryville to Tennyson and Rockport, he was arrested Tuesday evening by Marshall Ellis.
