April term of Spencer circuit court opens with busy docket
The April term of Spencer circuit court will begin next week with a large civil docket including several major damage suits. The grand jury will meet, and trials are slated for April 3 through April 30 at various dates. Sheriff Floyd Chapman visited New Cartle last Saturday with Cyril Haug of Dale to the state Institution for epileptics. He surveyed the tornado wreckage as four hundred men clear debris. Officials expect rebuilding house for house within months. Community contributions exceed one hundred thousand dollars statewide.
