Mrs. Sarah E Richardson Dies in Arkansas After Sixty Two Years of Marriage
Mrs. Sarah Emmerson Richardson of Hoxie Arkansas died March 12 at home. Born September 26 1825 in Warrick County Indiana she married Lewis W Richardson December 25 1845 in Rockport Indiana. She leaves four of ten children surviving Edward P Eva E William F and Allen G. The couple moved from Rockport to Arkansas in 1885 and joined the Presbyterian church in Rockport later transferring to Walnut Ridge. Her husband is connected to the late Mrs. Singleton and Mrs. Judge Swan of this city. They celebrated sixty two years of marriage last Christmas.
