Krogman Sentenced for Distillery Conspiracy in Indianapolis

William Krogman of Tell City, owner of the Krogman distillery, fined 2000 dollars and costs and sentenced to two years in Atlanta federal prison by Judge A. B. Anderson in Indianapolis. He confessed to conspiring to have whiskey stolen from his distillery to evade tax burden.

Reformatory Transfer Planned to Pendleton

Indiana moves inmates from Jeffersonville to Pendleton starting early September. About 850 imprisoned at Jeffersonville and 180 at Pendleton. By April 1 the Pendleton facility will hold 250, with gradual increases until Jeffersonville is emptied in the first week.
