Salvation Army Meetings End in Rockport with 75 Conversions
Salvation Army addressed Rockport for two weeks ending last Monday night with a stereoptical lecture. About 1,300 attended the two lectures and around seventy five conversions were reported, all among singers and musicians whose music was praised. Farmers and seed dealers must study dodder to exterminate it from fields and prevent dodder in seed. Inspect seed with a magnifier, require representative samples, and avoid dodder-infested lots. Remove and burn spots of infestation and rotate to nonleguminous crops to suppress seed. If seed matures, burn residual material to halt spread.

Mrs Rhoda Allen Dies At 76 In Luce Township Home
Mrs Rhoda Allen aged 76 died Monday morning at her home near Enterprise. Widowed to James H. Allen, she lived with daughter Mrs William Blair at the old homestead. Burial was held Wednesday afternoon at Richardson cemetery after a long invalid spell and a fall that hastened her death.
