Man Loses Left Eye After Straw Injury

A June Sunday wedding at Richland Methodist Church joined Miss Rava Lee Lloyd to Mr. Darrell O. Neidiegh of St. Paul Indiana. Rev. C. C. Pirtle officiated. Three local banks Farmers Bank Old Rockport Bank and First National Bank of Rockport filed in circuit court to undo a Florentine Fishback deed to William Fishback executed February 17 1920 and recorded June 7 1920 after Florentine s death The suit charges the $21 000 consideration was colorable and the deed was to defraud creditors The banks seek removal of William Fishback as administrator claiming insolvency if the deed stands and that estate debts may lack other assets.

On Sunday afternoon June 13 at 2:00 the local Modern Woodmen of America camp presents a two reel motion picture at the Alhambra Theatre called The Value of a Life. The film highlights the society’s anti tuberculosis efforts and claims over 2000 patients cured. Admission is free to the public with age restrictions and invites tuberculosis and lodge members from nearby towns.
