Mrs C C Murray died at 2 30 a.m. last Saturday at her home on Williamson Street Rockport aged 64 years 22 days after years of ill health. Funeral services were held at Moran Dey residence with Rev Karl Kramer officiating and Sunset Hill cemetery burial. Virginia Alameda Lucas born December 9 1857 in Louisville Kentucky grew up in Rockport and became a respected teacher. She married Clinton G Murray on June 24 1873 and was survived by sons Stanley J Murray Clinton C Murray Jr and Russell T Murray with Russell in California.

Infant Edwards Dies During Visit in This City
The nine month old son of Mr and Mrs Harry Edwards of Indianapolis died last Tuesday in this city at the home of Mrs Myrne Mrs John Young where the parents were visiting. The remains were taken to Indianapolis for burial. Mrs Edwards was formerly Miss Jamie Weeler, reared in Rockport. Rockport High School basketball teams will play Central High School Evansville teams here Friday and Saturday nights.
