John Biason died Tuesday morning at ten in Columbus Georgia after a four month cerebral hemorrhage. He was 73. Survived by wife Mrs Sissen and daughter, and brother J M Baird of Columbus. Niece Maude Mason Lang left to attend funeral. services held in Columbus. Remains buried there.

Leslie Clifford Hammond four year old son of Mr and Mrs Clifford Hammond fatally burned Saturday while playing near a bonfire. Clothes caught fire and he burned unconscious before older boys could reach him. He died Sunday morning at three. Funeral services were held Monday at the Center street home conducted by Rev W W Moore and Rev Tullis. Interment was at Grandview.
