Sioux Youth Fair Holds Annual Meeting and 1969 Dates
Sioux County Youth Association held its annual meeting at the Holland House in Sioux Center on November 13, 1968. President Pete Dekkers of Hawarden opened the meeting, with 1968 Fair Queen Paula Bomgaazs thanking members for Fair work. The treasury reported total assets of 66,450.53 and 1988 fair semiums paid totaling 5,084.40 to 4-H FFA and FRA. New directors named include Volney Rolston, Art Bauder, Glen Schut, and John Blow. 1969 Fair dates were set for August 6 to 9.
