Turkey Shoot At Rock Valley Gun Club November 14

Lyle Ver Hoef of Rock Valley announced the purchase of Hawarden Motors from Wayne Venard effective next Tuesday after final papers. The shop will be renamed Ver Hoet Chevrolet Olds, with the new owner planning a temporary commute between Hawarden and Root Valley. Ver Hoef, married with two children, previously ran the Chevrolet garage at Rock Valley before becoming manager for Investora Diversified. His father retired earlier this year from the Rock Valley garage partnership.

Valley Park reports its shelter house logged 14 023 visitors this season with 175 reservations for use.
