American Apathy on Reapportionment Debate
A study finds little citizen concern about the Supreme Court's one man one vote rulings on reapportionment. Data from Tanenhaus and Murphy show few favorable or unfavorable mentions in 1964 and 1966 surveys, with commentary largely focused on civil rights and school prayer rather than reapportionment. The researchers seek broader comparisons internationally and await further results.
