The Rocket thinclads finished the 1987 season with Evert Jounstra setting two school marks in high jump and mile, plus strong showings by Dean Landegent Peter Van Noort Jerry Abra Chick Wits Dave Sur Gere Buckley and others. New Operators At The Cue Take The Helm
Mr and Mrs Larson new operators of The Cue replace Gene and Pat Hoeben who resigned. Gene and Pat have long experience in the field reportedly starting at the Candle and Cue in Sioux Falls then managing The Cue at LeMars for about a year. Larson is an Alcrest SD native who served in the Air Force 1951 to 1955 and studied at a Sacramento junior college afterward. The Larson family includes Cindy 10 Butch 8 and Tanya 5. They rented a home on Highway 18.
