Good Turn Day Planned By Rock Valley Scouts
The Prairie Gold Area Council and Cub Scouts led by Cub Master Clayton Arend organize a Good Turn Day in Rock Valley this Saturday May 4. Arson Suspected In Twin Farm Fires
Arson is suspected after two barn fires damaged vacant farms near Shipioan and Schelling, five to six miles from town. Fires occurred around 1:00 a.m. Sunday and Wednesday with no electricity on either property. Sioux County sheriff’s office has suspects and ongoing investigations with no arrests yet.

Donald M. Hop, Orange City volunteer county saving bonds chairman, reports March sales of Series E and H Savings Bonds and Freedom Shares in Sioux County totaling $26,096.
