The Just A Mere Club will present a French Dress Shop fashion show on Saturday March 26 at 3 00 pm in the school auditorium. The program features 1986 fabrics and patterns for all day wear plus a cavalcade of Coltons wardrobe supplied by the National Cotton Council and McCall's Banner Company with casual suits dresses and color trends. Attendees include club members knitted garments and a luncheon hosted by area hostesses.

Rock Valley Junior High to Present Spring Concert
The Rock Valley Christian School junior high department will present a spring concert Friday evening at Calvin Christian Reformed Church. The program features a mixed chorus girls chorus mixed quartet and other vocal numbers. Ralph Zwaan of Rock Valley won an area newspaper cooking contest sponsored prize. A piano memorial was dedicated at Pioneer Methodist Church for HJ Long with community members attending. Rock Valley Track Team Prepares for State Indoor Meet
Twenty six boys from Rock Valley begin track practice for the season. Jim Boy Jr. says the squad has a good chance in a smaller conference despite lacking sprinters, focusing on distance runners. Weather permitting, they train toward the April 1 State Indoor meet in Iowa City.

Barry Komhoff Jim Boyer Ray Reinke and Art Gerrisen led about 20 Lettermans Club members from Rock Valley to the Mid Eastern Regional Tournament in Iowa City on March 12. They left Saturday morning and returned Sunday as four top teams Kentucky Michigan Dayton and Western Kentucky were featured. Fire crews later responded to Huisman Smith fire a pile of rubbish sparked into a small blaze near Herman Van t Hul's garage causing limited damage.
