Sioux County adopts a Judicial reform law replacing all Justices of the Peace and Mayor's courts with two part time magistrate judges earning 4800 annually. Appointments by April 1973 for July 1 start, with a 2 year term after year one. City Accepts Ambulance Bids In Rock Valley Bid Approved for New Ambulance
In a special meeting last Monday the Rock Valley city council approved a 14193 bid from Drie sea Implement for an International ambulance. The bid was among five ranging from 12004 to 19000 and will be sent to the state for approval to secure funding for about half the vehicle. The remaining cost will be borne by the city. The ambulance includes up to date equipment and will start service after the old system ends.

Two-Car Collision Damages Reported in Rock Valley
Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. a Rock Valley two vehicle crash caused 450 dollars in damage. Mrs. John Vander Sanden drove a 1972 Chevrolet east on Sth street when a 1970 Chevrolet panel truck backed from a curb, hitting the car and causing 306 dollars to the car and 150 dollars to the truck. James Boogerd faced a summons for backing without yielding. No injuries reported.

Relief funds sent from Rock Valley for Rapid City flood victims
A total of 1043 dollars raised in Rock Valley at Valley State Bank will be sent this week to Rapid City to aid residents after a flood that killed over 200 and left thousands homeless. The city council will forward the money to the Rapid City local fund for distribution by the local government.
