Final Rites for Charley De Boer
Funeral services for Charley De Boer, 15, will be held today at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Krupins officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery Doon. De Boer died Monday after a brief illness on his farm. he was born October 19, 1691 in the Netherlands and came to America at age three, living in the area all his life. He never married and resided with his brothers Henry, Benjamin, and others. he is survived by three sisters Hattie Yan, Lena De Vries, and Aena Jones.

David joined the service a year ago and recently completed six weeks of River Patrol Boat training at Mare Island California. D C Men Held For Assault Theft In Colorado Case
Duane Riepma age 17 of Orange City and Richard Vermillion, recent Orange City resident, are in XigWa Colorado custody charged with aggravated assault and auto theft. Vermilion, a former SD felon on parole, had parole transferred to Iowa board. Riepma faces charges in Sioux County for theft and breaking and entering. Dalbe Loop and Roger Likdkan of Grange City sought on Vogel Gar theft in Stout County Capital.
