The Decoration Day program last Thursday proceeded as planned with open services and a parade led by the Yader band from the school grounds to Main street. Soldiers’ graves were decorated at Catholic and Valley View cemeteries with Rev. Gritter delivering the address and praising courage and loyalty, as music from the male quartet and Rock Valley band enriched the observance.
