City Summer Recreation Program Set to Begin Soon
City committees organize the Summer Recreation program with dates to be announced soon. Registration will be held Saturday at City Hall from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Activities suggested include baseball softball tennis and baton accent. Those unable to register Saturday may send a card to Summer Rec for registration fee student assistance.

Manpower Questionnaire Return Surges in Sioux County
Five thousand eight hundred forty residents in Sioux County answered the Manpower Questionnaire by May 27. Among them 550 juniors and high school students indicated interest in full time work or learning about the Manpower Development and Training Act. The study team, based in Orange City, conducts interviews and tests through June 8 and will expand to Rock Valley for June 9 and 10 with mobile visits to Hull, Sioux Center, and Hawarden.
