The Rock Valley Commercial Club sponsors a July Fourth program at Rock Valley Park with a water fight by the Fire Department at 6 45 pm a youth baseball game at 7 45 pm an all star game at 8 pm and a fireworks show at 10 08 pm if rain delays the display moves to Friday after the high school game. The park offers shaded recreation facilities and a public pool with lifeguards on duty for the holiday crowds.

Injured In Car Motorcycle Mishap in Rock Valley
Erwin Kudyia of Rock Valley was hospitalized for observation after a two vehicle crash Monday afternoon. Kooistra, riding a motorcycle, sustained cuts and abrasions when it collided with Gwen Dolyn Faye Watke’s car near Hegg Memorial Hospital. Police say Watke’s vehicle moved from the hospital drive into traffic. the motorcycle struck the car’s side. Property damage was minor.

Farmers Elevator official tours Blanco Products in Indianapolis

The tour targeted Felco cooperative personnel and included livestock drug use clinics and swine beef and sheep research sessions.
