In Ames the Iowa State Highway Commission limited the relocation of surplus U S C A grain bins to meet legal size rules. The 41 to 42 foot wide by 100 foot long bins may not be moved on primary roads without proper reassembly and compliance, with a ban on loads over 40 feet wide. The U S Department of Agriculture plans sales of over 200 Quesser type bins at 80 locations across Iowa.
