Hein Kosters announces The Cue, a new 2000 square foot family recreation center under his IGA Store. The local project features snooker, rocket billiards, Foas hall, coin machines, chess and Checkers tables, padded seating, and a snack bar. The Rock Valley Cue plans league play with regional centers. Robert Bee of Sioux Falls will operate the venue with help from his wife Colleen, while the roller rink above Kosters Market will be refurbished.

Rock Valley Library to Begin Six Week Storytime Sessions
The Rock Valley Community Library board will start six consecutive weeks of story hour sessions beginning Saturday January 7. The first program targets children ages 4 to 6 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM, followed by an older group ages 7 to 20 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Deanna Meendering will narrate the stories and organizers hope townspeople and rural residents attend.
